MedicalMex International Care and Travel Notice

MedicalMex assists patients with coordination of healthcare services that may involve international travel, including treatment experiences with independent medical providers located outside the patient’s country of residence.

This notice applies to all users of websites, digital platforms, and services operated by MedicalMex and its affiliated entities.

Nature of International Healthcare Services

Healthcare services coordinated through MedicalMex may involve treatment with licensed medical providers located in Mexico or other international jurisdictions.

Patients considering international healthcare services should understand that medical systems, regulatory environments, and clinical practices may differ from those in their home country.

MedicalMex assists with coordination of the treatment experience but does not operate medical facilities and does not provide medical treatment.

Independent Medical Providers

Medical providers participating in treatment experiences coordinated through MedicalMex operate as independent healthcare professionals or organizations.

These providers are responsible for their own clinical evaluations, treatment decisions, procedures, and post-treatment care.

MedicalMex does not control the clinical judgment, treatment methods, or medical practices of any independent provider.

Jurisdiction and Legal Framework

Medical services performed outside the patient’s country of residence are generally governed by the laws and regulations of the country where the medical services are physically performed.

Patients should understand that legal rights, regulatory protections, and dispute resolution processes may differ from those in their home country.

MedicalMex’s coordination services may involve administrative operations conducted in the United States and operational support provided by affiliated entities operating in Mexico or other jurisdictions.

Travel Responsibilities

Patients traveling internationally for healthcare services are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable travel requirements, including but not limited to:

passport validity
visa requirements
travel insurance where applicable
entry and exit requirements
customs declarations

Patients are also responsible for making appropriate travel arrangements and ensuring that they are medically fit to travel.

Medication and Customs Compliance

Patients traveling internationally with medications must comply with the customs and import regulations of both their country of departure and the destination country.

Certain medications may require documentation such as prescriptions, physician letters, or customs declarations.

MedicalMex is not responsible for delays, confiscation of medications, or legal issues resulting from failure to comply with international medication regulations.

Logistics and Third-Party Services

In some cases, MedicalMex may assist patients with coordination of travel logistics such as transportation, accommodations, or laboratory services.

These services may be provided by independent third-party vendors.

MedicalMex does not control the operations of third-party service providers and is not responsible for the actions, performance, or policies of such vendors.

Personal Conduct and Safety

Patients are responsible for their personal conduct, safety, and activities during international travel.

MedicalMex is not responsible for events occurring outside of scheduled coordination activities, including activities at hotels, restaurants, transportation services, or other locations unrelated to medical appointments.

Good Faith Coordination

MedicalMex coordinates treatment experiences in good faith and makes reasonable efforts to facilitate communication between patients, providers, and service partners.

However, due to the nature of international travel and the involvement of multiple independent parties, MedicalMex cannot guarantee that all aspects of a travel experience will occur exactly as planned.

Patients acknowledge that unexpected events, delays, or schedule adjustments may occur.
